I'm having a lot of trouble mixing 15 audio tracks down to one by RenderAs. (default audio CD settings)
Its about 3 mins long, but if I try and render the whole thing, I get an error ("Vegas30.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close ...") I have sent the error report to MS but in the meantime I still have the problem.
It happens either 34, 35 or 38% into the rendering process - I have checked out this area on the timeline - between 1 min and 1min 10 sec. Nothing particularly unusual there, unless one of the .wavs has become corrupted (it all plays ok from the time line, so how can I tell?)
I have tried succesively Muting different tracks, but haven't got any clear consistent results to eliminate a particular track or passage. I did try rendering a different project and that went fine, so it looks like someting in this particular project.
I have even managed to render the whole thing in 5 separate Renders, all slightly overlapping, so at least I can rebuild a sort of mixdown, but it's hardly satisfactory!
What I'm hoping for is indications of the sort of factors that might contribute to or cause this symptom, and of course any suggested fixes.
Thanks for any ideas -
