Rendered audio - only have showing up in file

A large audio file i rendered a couple days ago contains only less than half of the audio i recorded. I think i might have rendered the track before all the waveform was built up. Would this be the issue/reason for the loss of most of me audio? is there any way to get it back? the rendered file size is pretty big but when dragged in vegas only a tiny bit of the actual audio is there.

I had same problem. I re-encoded problem file with handbrake. Below, shows original video and re-encoded video. original video encoded by nvenc. the first 30seconds are not there on original video. I am using vegas 17, I did not bother to look for ways to fix problem. vegas has many bugs, if i can re-encode file to fix i'll happily do that

also as note the small amount of audio at beginning of original video does not belong there, it's from another part of video. very strange. re-encoded by handbrake audio is perfect
