I have noticed that problem is related with my Nvidia RTX 5090 graphics card.

When I turn off GPU optimalization, output rendered file is ok. It is not black. I see footage in Preview window in Vegas Pro 23.

When I turn on GPU optimalization, output rendered file is completely black. I am not able to even see footage in Preview window in Vegas Pro 23.

I tried to reinstall latest drivers using clean installation, but it didn't fix the issue.

I render to 4K 25p.

@3POINT Can you paste me a screenshot of issue you have while trying to download the file.

It's downloading only with a few KB/s, which takes ages to download

@3POINT I don't know what happens, because I have 600 Mbps fiber internet. Maybe it is the problem with long distance between Poland and your country.

@Reyfox In my case it is not issue with render settings, becuase I am not even able to see video in preview window while editing. I tried to render to AVC, AV1 and Voukoder. All of these render settings render me a black output file.

After several attempts, I could download. File renders normally in my VP23.302 with latest NVIDIA driver.

@3POINT What graphics card do you have? Do you also have RTX 5090? I have also VP23.302.

I just have a GTX2080super.

I have such issue in my preview window when GPU optimalization is turn on.

2 weeks ago I had NVidia RTX 4070 Super and everything worked fine. A few days ago I upgraded my GPU to Nvidia Asus RTX 5090 Tuf Gaming and this issue appeared.
I have been always using Nvidia Studio drivers installed via Nvidia App.

I'm wondering who can afford such Graphic Cards, pricing of a few thousand euros I see when searching internet, and for what purpose?

I did a lot of weddings in Poland. This year will also be such year when I have a lot weddings. I am a developer too and I wanted to use this GPU to AI processing either. I have strong PC. My 4K videos taken by drone (DJI Mavic 3) renders quicker than they last. I.e. my drone video which lasts 5 minutes, renders 3 minutes on my new GPU, of course in 4K. Video filming, editing and developing has been not only my work, but also big hobby for many years, that's why I did a Christmas gift for myself :)

@Dexcon you have mentioned that you downloaded my file under 10 seconds. I think you are closer to Poland than @3POINT.

The renders of my HEVC 10 bit 4k50 footage (DJI Osmo Pocket 3) have an average renderspeed faster than realtime (between 50-60fps). (The same with Davinci Resolve between 70-90 fps). That's more than fast enough for me, since rendering is just a final stage and a small part of hours of editing. For me most important is a fluent editing experience.

I'm in Germany, a fifth attempt to download was faster and took a few seconds.

That's interesting that fifth attempt was finally the right speed. I will have to talk with chatgpt about it. This link I pasted directs to my home server.

It could also been the sixth attempt and I also restarted my PC in-between. The issue could be also on my side.
