Rendered Files WAY TOO LARGE

A 13 minute .mov file imported and into and edited with Vegas Plantinum Studio 6.0b renders as a 33 Gigabyte .mov file using the default template.

What's going on? How do I fix this problem so I can burn it back onto a DVD?

You must be rendering to uncompressed AVI or MOV. It doesn't really matter since the final file for the DVD will be MPEG2. When you import the file into DVD Architect it will encode the file as MPEG2 for you and it will be small enough for the DVD then.

You could also render directly to MPEG2 from Vegas if you wish. A 13 minute file will probably end up somewhere between 0.5 and 1GB.
