Rendered project

I've completed a slide show and have rendered it (Vegas 3.0). When opening Architect, I can't locate the rendered project. I do find a windows media file with the name of the rendered project, but Architect can't open that file. Do I have something set wrong?

What format did you render ?

You will need to render to .mpg or .avi to have dvda make it into a dvd. use the dvda template from the drop down box below the area where you name the file after clicking on "render..." from the file menu (I am sure there was an easier way to say what I just typed!

So instead of having a file named "your file name.wmv" you will want one named "your file name.mpg" or "your file name.avi"

By format, do you mean .mpg ? That's what the rendered file was supposed to be, I thought.

I can do a search and find the .mpg file, but Architect won't open it...says it's in the wrong format. I thought, actually, that rendering in Vegas Movie Studio automatically made the file appropriate for Vegas Architect. Did I miss something?
