@jay-o You get limited options when only audio is on the timeline, but I can see a picture in your Preview .
These are the options I get with audio only, why you're getting some of the other options I don't know, a better full screen capture would be better..?
To get a better screen capture - press the Windows key + Shift + S all at the same time, the screen will go dark & options will appear at the top of the screen that will let you choose full screen or just a selection, this screen capture will show in Notifications bottom right of the screen where you can then save it.
Is your project audio only? If so, AAC will encode an audio only file with the <.mp4> extension. The extension can be changed after rendering to <.m4u> is so desired or needed,
If there is picture, confirm "Include video" is selected in the 'Customize template' settings which will have the video render formats available.
I don't see video options It is a video not just audio.
Hi @jay-o, 'Render as', and select your desired format. (Video formats will not be available if there is no picture media). Choose a similar template (preset) you wish to render to; Click the "Modify Template" button, which will give you additional parameters to choose. "Include video" for instance

@rraud Hi, there is a picture on the timeline & the preview window, it's hard to see as his pic is so small but enlarged I can't see MagixAVC/AAC in the list, whether 'Include video' is checked or not the MagixAVC/AAC option should still in the list..?
This is his pic on my screen.
Enlarged it's hard to see but I can just make out neither MagixAVC/AAC or MagixHEVC/AAC is in the list
I don't have the option to include video in my custom settings. There isn't an option for MagixAVC/AAC. The screenshots I see in the forum look different than mine. Mine doesn't show Internet UHD on the template. I have version 21.
In your original post, you stated that you no longer have all the video render options, this suggests that render options such as MAGIX AVC/AAC MP4 were previously presented but have disappeared. Based on this, try resetting Vegas Pro back to its default/factory settings as per the procedure given in the following post:
That worked Thank you so much. The only thing is its missing files. I search for them and they dont come up. They are not being found. Hopefully this will be the last time i bother you guys. I want to thank you all for your input.
I get an error message saying the following files cannot be found. I use the search button in the screenshot and it will pull up a few, but not all o
f them. On YouTube i looked up solutions and one was to check the ignore missing file and leave offline. That will bring up the tracks in Vegas but they are empty
As far as I know it went smoothly. If you mean dragging the raw videos into the tracks ( don’t know all the lingo yet I know music daw systems) they will drag in. That would mean starting over again? Before i reinstalled the system would find all the files and pick up where i left off.
ok, all functions, based on your description, should be working.
Anyway, not sure what happens exactly the files are missing then... now the most important is 'rescuing' the project you are currently working.
Usually, when asked this:
And you pointed one of the related media (specify a new location or replacement file), VP should automatically detect remaining missing media in the same location and will asked you if you want to apply to whole missing media. Just do so Yes.
If ignoring, yes it will leave the missing media as offline, and you will need to reconnect the media via Project Media tab:
Don't remember if you do this to one of missing media, whether the other similar media will be found and suggested by VP to be applied to all or not.
Yep!!!! That did it. I do have to resync a few tracks and a few other issues I'm still trying to figure out, but its better than starting from scratch. Thank you so much.
