How long does it take to save a movie to your harddive? It's taking me like 10 hours---what do I need to do?

This was a good string of posts, thanks everyone!

I'm still wondering if rendering from Screenblast to MPEG2 or .avi which would make the whole DVD process go more quickly, without losing any video quality?
