I capture a section of a VHS through my digital camcorder in Movie Studio. I had to use a Pinnacle video capture device because I didn't have a firewire cable. The capture worked find, eventhrough it saved as a very large AVI file. I wanted to same to my hard drive as MPEG 1, however when I did this there was no sound. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? Also if anyone knows why it saved as an AVI file from the capture.
