I only recenlty got Vegas Pro 14, and on that. I downloaded a few codecs to allow me to inport .mp4 files.

Now the problem is the preview and render for the files come out like this all the way through.

Contantly like the above photo throught the preview and render.

All help is a appreciated.

Vegas generally does not like the video produced by a lot of game/screen-recording programs/formats such as Fraps, Bandicam, Wirecast, Action!, DXtory.

OBS Studio records more standard x264/MP4 video that Vegas happily plays with it's built-in decoder.

What codecs exactly did you download?

If you have a particular format that is causing problems, please post the MediaInfo text report for a typical file (see #6 in this post: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/why-does-my-rendered-video-look-bad-quality-troubleshooting-basics--103361/ ).

You can try converting your videos in the Freemake Video Converter, Handbrake, or various FFmpeg GUIs.
