Rendering AVI for DVD Architect? Which template?

Hi everyone..
I have an AVI of a concert performance..which template do I use to render for DVD architect? The one listed says video only ..BStanding recommended using that then doing my 16bit 48k pcm separately. How exactly do I do that and in what order? Do I have to resync my audio? Do I work on the DVD menu construction with the video render then fly in the audio? Sorry as a new user I'm not quite getting the job flow down yet . Thanks
Bryan

Render as Main Concept Mpeg2 with the option for the correct DVDA template (NTSC, I am assuming). Save it in a folder. If you want chapters to automatically appear with names in DVDA then set your markers and names in Vegas first before you render.
Check off the option at the bottom to leave markers in the render. The Video Only will be rendered. Will take several hours.
Then render again choosing the AC3 option (stereo template would be best choice rather than 5.1 surround). Save it in the same folder as the Video template. That goes quickly.
When you open DVDA find the folder so that it displays in the bottom window. Choose the Mpeg video file and DVDA will automatically associate it with the AC3 file. Recompression should not be necessary if you do it that way.

You render the video and audio in two separate steps. The order doesn't matter. When you click on the "Render As" option in the File menu, click on Save as Type: and select "MainConcept MPEG-2 (*.mpg)". Then below that, select Template: "DVD Architect NTSC video stream" (select PAL if you live in Europe).

After that render is finished, you go back and render again. If you rendered a region in the step above, make sure to select exactly the same region. This time select Save As Type: "Dolby Digital AC-3 (*.ac3)" For template, select Stereo DVD.

If you want to render both without having to do it as two separate operations, you can go to the "Scripting" forum and search for a script that will do both at once.
