Rendering Blue-Ray disc with video and still image

Hello,

I'm relatively new to the video world.

Currently, I am attempting to render and make a blue-ray disk of HD video from my Sony HDR CX12 plus still images. I've been successful making the project with Vegas Studio Platinum 9.0 and burning it to DVD. I can even render and make a blue-ray disk of all the video portions of my project. However, when I try to render the entire project (or a portion) with the still images included to make a blue-ray disk, the rendering process stops with unknown errors and shuts down a the first frame with the still images.

Even more odd, I can render and make a blue-ray disk of a couple images with the music track. I added 9 still images (5 seconds each with and without transitions) in between some video clips. I've tried any number/combination of images and with or without transitions up to nine still images. I can only get two still images rendered and made to a blue-ray disk successfully (by themselves). These still images were all shot with the same camera on the same day.

Any help. advice, suggestions to get this dummy on track to render a project with HD video and still images to make a blue-ray disk with HD will be greatly appreciated.
