Hello All,

Ah, I have been away from this program for almost a year as I was very frustrated!!....however now as a gift I need to pull together simple photos with music. The slide show is complete and I have burned CD-Rs however they will not play in the DVD players. I have the Vegas Platinum 7.0 in a Vistas computer which works fine. The DVD Architect however does not seem to work? Nevertheless I was told if rendered properly I should be able to burn without the architect portion? please help!!!!!!!!! :)

Burn with what? Vegas is not a dvd authoring or burning program.
If you render it as a dvd compliant MPeg2 in Vegas you should be able to burn it with Nero or even Roxio. My choice is DVDA but I am not working on a Vista machine.

Actually I use Vegas to burn CDs all the time. Just go to Tools>Burn CD.

There should be a Make Movie button in your toolbar in VMS. Check Burn To DVD to have it work in your DVD player.

I always go to File>Render As, type in the project name and render it as an MPEG2. Then I open up DVDA, make my menu, and it will then burn it on a DVD.

Thank you both for your replies. I am a substitute teacher and finding time in between to read/reply.....nonetheless, the path you pointed out, Autopilot seems as if it will work. Once home this evening I'll burn and see!

Thanks again.
