Rendering for Pocket PC

Anyone have some recommendations for video on an iPAQ Pocket PC? I've tried rendering all kinds of WMV setting in Vegas and haven't been too impressed with the results when played on the iPAQ. Seems like WMV is competing for space in larger "normal" formats because their quality in low bit rate formats is NOT good IMHO.

Anyone using a different player or format on their Pocket PC? I want to use the iPAq for short demos to the "shirt & tie" business market. Of course, the projects I get from these demos will be created in Vegas for use on DVD, etc.

Can the ipaq handle MOVs...? I've found Sorenson Squeeze does a tremendous job of squishing stuff down to lower bitrates and resolutions.

Use the Microsoft Windows Media 9 encoder, it's free and has a setting template specifically for the Pocket PC. Of course, this requires rendering your project out of Vegas to an .AVI file and feeding it to the WM encoder, but it works well.

Rendering high quality video at low bitrates is not an easy task, but I am unaware of any codec that looks as good as WM9 for this purpose.
