rendering in full-screen?

Hi folks. I just bought Video Factory last week and its the first time I have ever tried to edit videos. I searched through other posts but I couldn't find the answer to this question. I recorded a file as an MPEG-1 in 320x240 from my tv-tuner card. Now when I try to render it again from Video Factory it does it in 352x240, essentially just smushing the picture vertically. Even when I've tried to change the settings when I make the file, it keeps putting it in wide-screen. For example, I went to Advanced Rendering and manually set it to render in 320x240. I'd appreciate any help I can get with this. Thanks, guys.

The answer to your question probably involves setting the interlacing setting correctly. The MPEG-1 capture is probably non-interlaced. You may have to experiment with the interlace properties (right-click on clip, select "Properties" and then click on the "Media Properties" box in the upper right corner of the dialog box). Also, depending on what format you are rendering to (AVI, MPEG-1, etc.) you may have to experiment with the interlace settings there as well.
