Rendering makes vegas freeze entirely

When i try to use the "render as" option and click render the program freezes and wont let me click anything at all.
Closing it via task manager will open up a window saying "Vegas 20.0 has stopped working" with an option for me to send info about the issue to magix.

This is quite annoying, as i have worked over 4 hours editing a video and now an hour or so searching for solutions.
It'd be great getting some help with this.
Edit: OS: Windows 10 Pro 22H2, Vegas build: Vegas 20.0 370, App used to record: obs, for youtube
My graphics card is an rtx 2070 super and my cpu is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9600K CPU @ 3.70GHz
I have the latest driver updates, gpu acceleration is off.
Im using vegas 20 yet i dont have the "Enable Hardware Decoding for supported formats" option but i have this screenshot

Does it work with MagixAVC and Mainconcept?

What's in the error message when you say show problem details? Any hint as to the cause of the crash?

It worked when i chose MPEG, avc is what i was using previously and didnt work.

OK uhmm now rendering with magix avc actually works for some reason? Apparently trying mpeg fixed it which is weird...

A new problem has arised, its rendering at 0.58 fps....

@adonis-poteras Hi,

Can you click your icon at the top of this page - My Profile & fill in your Signature with the full name of your CPU, GPU & amount of RAM, also inc the Windows & Magix version, this will then show at the bottom of your comments, look at mine & others,

Slow rendering can be caused by a few things like a damaged file or a certain fx, try rendering your project in parts & see if you can narrow it down to find the dodgy file or cause for the slow render,

You mention OBS, I do't know much about that but in the Link @j_v provided is MediaInfo, it's an App, download it, it's free & a fast download with no added adverts or any of that rubbish. https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo

After downloading, right click on the OBS media file in your Windows folder, open MediaInfo, choose Text from the options at the top, Copy & paste the information in a new comment on here 👍
