RENDERING PROBLEMS

I am having some rendering problems. Ok I am trying to render some movie clips that i recorded through "Fraps" in Counter-Strike. When I record them through Fraps they come out really laggy and skip alot. If i am correct rendering it out is supposed to smooth that out? Ok well when i go to render small clips just to smooth it out, after it is done I go to play it back through Quicktime (i am rendering it to a Quicktime 5 .mov file) and it looks EXACTLY how it did when i first recorded it in-game. I need to figure out how to clear these out so i can go on in making my movie.

My thought is that the playback you are capturing is stuttering and therefore your capture is recording the movie.. stutters and all. Im not familiar with your setup but that was my first thought. I think you will have to provide VEGAS with a smooth playback to capture...others more experienced may offer some more specific advice.
