Rendering problems

I have been having serious problems rendering. It keeps telling me that the system doesn't have enough memory and applications should be closed. However, I still have over 20GB of space left on my drive.

I tried rendering something else and it worked fine.

Is the project I am working on corrupt? I have already put 2 weeks worth of work into the project and I don't want to lose it. Is there anyway to keep the project without having to start over?

When you get the running out of memory message you are running out of Ram and your project is too large. A large amount of still pictures will suck up memory as blurs, credit rolls, compositions, etc.
How much memory do you have and how large is the project?

Certain effects increase RAM needs. Reboot, shut down all extra running programs (unplug from internet, shut down antivirus, firewalls), reduce Dynamic RAM render setting to 0 or 128 (not in between) then try again.

Sometimes just a reboot helps.

Check your Vegas Settings......
They could do temp renders on say your C: drive
Though, your final projects our outputting to E. drive (where there is plenty of space)

be sure to check those pre-redner/ / temp options and where its happening
