Rendering times

I've just re-rendered a project after rendering with the wrong template. This time I made sure the project and rendering templates were the same (PAL DV) and I also ran Analog-X's CacheBooster to tweak the system caches. The rendering time came down from 210 minutes to 30 minutes! I'm not expecting any more dramatic improvements, but is there anything else I should be considering?

Cheers

Which AnalogX settings? I've had long rendering times, and use AnalogX. Maybe your settings are better!

I just used the "Digital Audio / Video" setting. I don't know if CacheBooster calculates them or has absolute values, but for my 512Mbyte system they're:-
Minimum Disk Cache 39168 Kb Active
Maximum Disk Cache 39168 Kb Active
Chunk Size 4096 Kb Active
Name cache 3072 Kb Active
Directory Cache 128 Kb

I had a quick play to see if it was the cache or template settings that was making the difference and it looks like it's the cache.
