Rendering to .avi problems

I rendered a small 30sec video clip to .avi earlier today, and my sound is out of phase with my video. Seems like the sound is in the correct phase, and the video lags behind. Anyone ever have this issue? When I render to mpeg-2 I do not have this issue.

Many things can cause OOS. What template, NTSC DV? What is the source of the video? DV-AVI or mpeg?

More details needed about your project before suggestions can be given.

The source of the video is .M2T

The template I was trying to use was HDV 1080-60i intermediate

I read some other posts and ran across this link which solved my problems. I followed the custom rendering instructions detailed here and I was able to render my 30sec video down to 4Mb with nice quality and my 60sec video down to 8Mb also with nice quality! :)

This community is great and very helpful and quick to respond.
