Rendering to MOV problem

I have platinum V13. I have win 7

I cant render my vegas file to MOV...the error message I get ..... "an error occurred creating media file. The reason for the error could not be determined"
Can anyone help please.

Can you render to any other format?

And have you ensured you have the latest version of Quicktime installed on your computer?

Yes, I can render in other formats .... Not sure of quicktime version ...... I'll check and download....

Interesting!!

I was missing some files ... upgraded them.

Usually I render to an external hard drive, but I still got the same error, until I rendered to my C drive.

Search for filepath naming issues using QT encoding libraries.
They've been mentioned several times on the forums.
