Rendering Video file

I open an Mpeg-1 coded movie file in the Vegas 6 Editor, and i make it sound louder, after that i click on the "Render as" button and after it finishes i check the media but it doesen't contains pictures so only the sound can be heard no movie to see, what could be the problem, please help me i work on this for 4days.

/sry if that was a noob question but i can't get the answer myself/

plus if you want to bump the volume -- dont re-render the video ..

load mpeg1 (w/ audio)

render to mpeg audio ...

using the free version of tmpgenc (free for mpeg1) , use mpeg tools and de-multiplex the original mpeg1 ...

take new audio and demultiplexed video stream and multiplex into a new file ..


whole thing can be done in a minute ...
