Rendering Video for Mobile Devices - iPod, etc.

I've used Handbrake to convert video into formats suitable for iPod and BlackBerry but as I have VMS Platinum, can it do it too?

When I go into "Render As... " I can't see any mention of iPod even though it is specifically mentioned as a supported format for this application:
"MainConcept AVC/AAC, read/write (templates only) iPod format"

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks!

If you select Make Movie/Save to My Hard Drive and then select the Main Concept AVC output format, you will find presets for saving to an iPod under the Template menu.

Although you can also use the Sony AVC option and, under the Template menu, select Internet 640x480 30p (or Internet 640x360 30p for widescreen).

Either should give you great results on an iPod, even if you port your iPod video to a TV for playback.

Thanks - my mistake was assuming that "Render As" and "Make Movie" had the same options :-)

I don't know about Blackberries, but Handbrake works very well and has iPod presets. You can search these forums for lots of good info.
