Renderproblem Vegas 7.0d

Hi

I have a strange problem. I have a 1½ min DV AVI 4:3 file. I import it into a 16:9 project. To cover the black bars in the sides I import a PSD file with transparency in the middle as overlay. I resize the video a little but keep aspect ratio.

I render to a new file DV AVI WS have tried both good and best quality. Aprox 1 min. along the file there is a fault in the render with a strange mix of previous frames for a second or two. I do not see this in timeline playback.

I have tried to render uncompressed too and the same fault appears.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Ulf? Haven't got an answer, but why not have a PSD background, instead of introducing maybe some strange artifacts in rendering?

Ok, do a test with YOUR set up and MUTE your 4:3 and see what you get.

My "guess" would be something is playing hide n seek with the transparency file?

Do try a solid background though. If this comes right then it WAS the trannie. It it goes bad again, then my theories are just fluff and splutter!

Thanks Grazie...

I moved VEG and media to an 8.0c box and it worked ok, so I did not test much more on my 7.0d. Tried with PNG instead of PSD though, but it was the same. If I rendered to ram it was ok...strange.

Thanks.
