Well, IIRC, WMV is a file container, with the video being compressed by one of numerous codecs. So, it is perfectly conceivable for one person to be having problems and for another not to have any, because they may each be working with different codecs.

No problem here in VP14 build 211. What are you rendering WMV for? Perhaps you can choose an alternative codec like AVC/AAC. WMV is pretty old and inefficient.

Not really. WMV files contain a Windows Media Video video stream and, optionally, a Windows Media Audio stream. There are options but it's not like other containers that can contain all sorts of different things.

Using only for powerpoint presentation. Best solution for video in powerpoint. This problem only happening in long file (1min and bigger)
