Renumber regions - Ultimate S Pro 4.1

I have marked regions on an audio track (recording of entire LP), but they are out of order.

I tried US4 to renumber markers/regions, on the Markers tab. But US4 gives an error that no markers are found. Apparently regions can't be renumbered unless there are also markers on the timeline.

If I put a marker at the end of the timeline, the function runs, but the marker gets number 1, and the regions are numbered 2 to n. Is there any way to renumber regions starting with 1?

Go to View - Edit Details. Tell it to show "Regions". Click the box in the upper left corner of the grid to select everything. Press "CTRL-X" (all the regions will disappear). Press "CTRL-V" (all the regions will return an be numbered sequentially).

Neat trick. Thanks, Edward!

I also see that I can reorder the numbering of the regions any way I like, by cutting and pasting them on the edit details list. Nice.
