Reporting total lockups

Any suggestions how we are supposed to report total lock-ups of Vegas 17 to Magix? In those (sadly very frequent, even with GPU acceleration turned off) events, there's no error reporting screen - it just locks and I have to Ctrl-Alt-Delete to end the task.

Are you editing a project that is complex, and contains a lot of thumbnails on the timeline? There has been a recurring issue with that causing lockups, so if that is the case, try to go into preferences and disable timeline thumbnail display (or set it to one of the other options that shows fewer), and see if that helps until an update can address the issue. If not, do what is said in the link below, and we'll likely be able to figure out what is causing the crash for you very quickly.

I too would like to know how to report useful info about a hang. Mine, though, was solved by updating my GPU driver (Intel UHD 630).

Cheers but it's not that complicated and I already have only head/middle/end thumbnails shown.

Unfortunately, I already have the latest nVidia Studio driver so nothing more to update there :-(

so much lockups in 17. non complex timeline, less than 2 minutes, locking up anywhere from 2 minutes to 30 minutes in of editing. nuking ALL Nvidia and going back to very latest since doesnt seem to make any difference in 17
