Can any one help....I'm having issues with video editing, the play back is very slow and choppy like if there wasn't enough ram in the computer. I assume is the graphics card but I need to make sure before I buy a new computer. This is what I have right now.

Thanks

Processor: AMD A6-4400M with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.7 GHz
Ram: 6.00 GB
System Type: 64-bit Operating System, X64 based processor

As you can see from this benchmark chart, the AMD A5-4400 is not a terribly fast processor. In fact, it's slower than a lot of Intel Pentiums. Although it may be adequate for editing some video formats.

The real questions are: What model of camcorder is your video coming from and what format and resolution is it? What are your project properties?

The closer you match your project properties to the specs of your source video, the more efficient the program will perform.

And, of course, more current versions of Movie Studio are more efficient with formats like AVCHD -- and, since you don't say which version of the program you're using (or what operating system you're editing it) that could be a factor too.
