I think this one will be an easy one. When I stretch an event while trimming (using Ctrl+drag edge of event), the only way I found to reset the event to it's neutral length (length event was before any stretching) was using the same method - CTRL+ drag edge of event - until the the wiggly line goes away. And it seemed like when I first started doing that, I had a % icon that appeared that indicated when the clip was at 0% - so it seemed that must be the way you reset the clip.
Now, in the same project, when I tried to apply the same method to a event that had the audio ungrouped and deleted, I don't get the % inidcator. That makes it harder to reset an event back 0%.
So my question is did ungrouping the audio cause Vegas to stop displaying the % indicator of a time stretched clip ? Or did I somehow do something unkowingly that caused the % indicator not to appear on time stretched events ? (I will experiment a bit more to try to find what I did, but just thought if I had done something (stupid) to change a setting, someone might have a quick explanation for me)
And maybe anything on a better way of resetting a time stretched clip bacl to 0% than using the ctrl _ drag of event. I really thought that right clicking the focused event would give me the option to reset it - saw that I could reverse an event, which is kind of like a trime stretch, but that nor the the insert/remove envelope velocity seem to help set it back to 0%.
Thanks
