resizing of preview pane

Movie Studio Platinum
Version 13.0 (Build 987) 64-bit

While editing video, I used to have a preview pane which was about half of the upper half of the screen, which was enough to show the video itself, plus all control buttons ([play], [stop], [pause], [restart], etc.). This display was very convenient when editing.
But something has changed: the pane is now barely one tenth of the upper half of the screen, which makes very hard to visualise the video, and the control buttons have been reduced to only [play].
See the attached, in the upper right: marked in red how small it is now, and in green how large it used to be.
How can I enlarge the preview pane to what it used to be?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Two possible ways to fix:

1. Go to View/Window Layouts and select Default Layout (or any custom layout that you may have previously saved); or

2. Use the mouse to drag the LH edge of the Preview Window to the left until it is placed in your preferred position.

hi Dexcon

Option 1. I see no such options within "View". I only see 'Extensions', but it is grayed out, and no further options within it.

Option 2. Yes - that was my first attempt, but hovering over the edge does not offer anything, let alone resizing.

I uninstalled and re-installed several times, to no avail. However, after one of the re-installs, after clicking in a buch of places (unfortunately I don't know anymore the sequence of clicks), the preview pane suddenly appeared - oh-la-la - so my issue is solved mysteriously 😮

Thank you very much for your attempt, I appreciate it ;-)
Be well ;-)
