Currently, there is no way to do this in DVD Architect.

If you edit each scene to cut of a little of the scene and make it different form the complete clip, the completion of the scene and the back button will return you to the scene selection menu. I just tested this out with preview in DVDA, I believe at one time I also tested it out on my set top player. I also remember making a DVD where in and out points of each scene began at the beginning of the scene and ended at the end of the scene so that it would return to the scene menu. If you do this then it won't play the whole clip, just the scene and return to the scene menu.

With this you must look very close to see what really happens. You have to distinguish carefully two "fields" with different results:

1. There is a difference if you let the clip play to its end versus pressing the key on the remote. If you let play the clip to the end it returns to the scene selection menu. If you use the remote before the clip's end it goes to the main menu.

2. There is a difference between the virtual remote within DVDA preview and the real world with the desktop DVD-Player. Within preview pressing the return button on the virtual remote also returns you to the scene selection menu, doing the same on the DVD-Player's remote returns you to the main menu.

For me this is the biggest problem with DVDA which makes it nearly useless for me because most of my DVD projects at least have 2 or 3 levels of menus. And without the possibility to return to the last menu by pressing a button on the remote this is not acceptable for the user of a DVD.
