What I want to achieve:
On the main menu I want to have 2 buttons. One should start playing the complete video, the other should display a chapter selection menu for the same video. When pressing the "Return" Key on the remote control of the DVD-Player, it should return to the chapter selection menu.
According to information I found in another thread here I dragged the video a second time into the main menu and changed the in-point by 1 frame. From this I inserted the chapter selection menu and then I deleted the secondly imported video.
What I get in fact:
When I preview this within DVD-A it looks OK, that means after starting some chapter from the chapter selection menu and then clicking "Back", it returns to the first chapter selection menu (would be nice if it would return to the chapter selection menu page from which it was started instead of the first one, but OK).
With the finished DVD I get this:
When pressing "Return" key after I have started from the chapter selection menu it always returns to the main menu! So this is different behaviour between DVD-A Preview and finished DVD.
So, one would think immediately that this is a problem of my ELTA player. But the exact same behaviour is seen when playing the DVD on my PC with WinDVD Player. And also this problem only appears with a DVD made by DVD-A. A lot of other DVDs made with different other Authoring-Applications (e.g. DVD Workshop Trial) work with correct navigation with my ELTA player and with WinDVD.
Any hints and ideas are welcome
