Move Studio doesn't have that option. I happen to have Avid Free DV installed on my computer so when I need to reverse a clip I do it there. But it's a complicated interface and I have to re-learn how to reverse each time.

I've downloaded both Avid FreeDV and VideoMach and after much fiddling with them, I still can't figure out out to reverse the video. In avid's help it says to click on the time warp button, but for the life of me I can't find the button. Any additional tips would be appreciated.

If you want to see the ability to reverse clips in the future, please fill out Sony's suggestion form:

Quite frankly, given the numerous times this subject has come up in the forum, I would be very surprised if we didn't see this feature in the next version of VMS (especially since Vegas already has this feature).

Sony does listen. For example, they added the ability to set the default still image duration. This was formerly a frequently asked question. Now, people seem to want to apply the same transition to a batch of still images. This is probably further away since I don't think even Vegas can do this.

Hi, did you mean flip horizontal and vertically? Or did you mean inverse video?

To flip horizontally or vertically, you can go to the event properties and Pan/Crop. Inside that dialog, the flip horizontal and vertical options are available. Just remember to set your Begin and End conditions the same.

I'm a new user myself so hopefully, this is what you're talking about..

Like I said I always have to re-learn how to reverse in avid freedv. I will try to do it again this weekend and get instructions avid.
