Reversing Transitions Without Intermediate Files

Some transitions, like Page Peel, work in one direction only. However, you can reverse them in the following way:

1. Open a separate project. Put event B on the timeline first, then event A. Right-click all video and audio events and choose “Reverse”. Insert the transition from B to A.

2. Save the project.

3. Insert the project into a master project. This inserted project can be treated as if it were an event. Right-click on the linked project and choose “Reverse” again. This puts the original events back into normal order but leaves the transition reversed.

that's a neat idea!

I always rendered to a new track & reversed the new media.

Better idea (vegas 8 pro only I think):

you can add a "transition progress" envelope TO the transition! Then you can reverse it that way! :D

How come I didn't realise that and you did? Have you been reading the manual?

I forgot about the transition envelope until I thought there was a better way to do a reverse transition then what I was doing. That minute. :)

It really was in 5? I don't remember it in 6! maybe I never used it???
