Review of Gary Kleiner’s “The Vegas 5 Companion”

I bought Gary Kleiner’s “Vegas 5 Companion” 5-DVD training package.

Though I’ve been using Vegas about 18 months, there’s a hell of a lot about it I don’t know (particularly the new features in V5). Gary’s DVDs fill in the blanks. Even on the very first disc (“Basics, Tips and Tricks”) there were a few tidbits I’d been unaware of---and the stuff Gary demonstrates later on REALLY impressed me.

I recommend “The Vegas 5 Companion” for any of you guys who, like me, are fairly comfortable with Vegas but realize there’s a lot more to learn.

And if you happen to be a newbie, “The Vegas 5 Companion” is a must-have.

I agree. Gary has always come through with awesome instructional
videos. This is a must have. If it wasn't for him and Spot, and of course,
this forum with it's great wealth of knowledge, I think that I'd be lost.

I am a Newbie and I must say it is the best. I had absolutely no idea of the capabilities of Vegas 5. I'd been relying on a Pinnacle program for years but had heard a lot about the capabilities of Vegas 5. I bought the program but the information provided with the program wouldn't get me off the ground. Gary's Vegas 5 Companion was a life saver and a must have. It has made me realize the power and ease of Vegas.

I have bought and have been watching Gary's latest DVDs these past few days.... like Spot's DVDs, Gary's are excellent too, both very well worth getting... it's great to look over the shoulder of an experienced, friendly Vegas pro as he explains dozens of how-to techniques for workflow and project rendering tips ... highly recommended.. saved me a ton of time in learning, plus covers a lot of techniques I would'nt ever have picked up on my own.
