right sizes for different PIP stuff

Anyone know of a table or list that has the right sizes for different PIP stuff

IE: 4 clips in motion safe, 4 clips in title safe, 4 clips full screen ETC.

I don't know the exact sizes to give you the numbers but I use the Video Wall tool in Excalibur to do this. It has an option with or without the safe area.

NTSC video is fixed at 720 x 480 so 1/4 of this is 360 x 240.
It's simply a case of lining them up properly.
The top row clips would be from 0-360 / 0 -240 & 360-720 / 0-240.
The bottom row clips would be from 0-360 / 240-480 and 360-720 / 240-480.
As far as motion & title safe settings are concerned, you'd have to see what yours are set at. I believe Vegas defaults to 10% & 20% respectively so it's a case of subtracting 10% or 20% from the above numbers. I wouldn't worry about it though as you can see exactly what it'll look like in the preview window.
