Newegg is a great place to deal with. I recently purchased these Ritek G04 from them and received it in three days with free Fedex shipping. West coast to East coast. After scanning them they were indeed Ritek G04. Just be careful when you open the package as there is no spindle. It just looks that way. Mine went flying all over the editing room......scratched 15 of them.

Are you sure those are Ritek discs? All the Ritek ones I buy come spindled, maybe they just pack them diffrently for the Printable ones.
==================================
According to both DVDInfo and DVDIdentifier, they are. Riteks are packaged by lots of different distributors. I tested them when I got them.
Riteks sometimes ship without spindles. I have received several verified batches without spindles and several with them. Just depends where you order from apparently...
I tried to do a disc copy using Nero 6 and Ritek 4X -R on my TDK 440N drive and Nero ruined three of them before giving me an error message that the media was not supported. Any ideas?
I purchased bulk DVD blank media purported to be Ritek. There is no label on them to indicate they are Ritek. Is there a simple and free method to find out if they are Ritek? I went to the DVD Decryptor site, but it doesn't seem to offer that function. Did I miss it somewhere? Is there another, better way (fast and cost-free)? Thanks to all.
Brazilian, if you are referring to my post, no, mine are not branded. I purchased bulk +RW (not printable surface) and bulk +R (printable surface) from Mertiline, and they were represented as Ritek. I have not had any problems with the +R media, but the +RW are burninng but not loading. I wanted to make sure they were all really Ritek. Both media have a unique, long series of numbers printed right around the hole in miniscule font size. I have written to Ritek to inquire whether these specific numbers inidcate they are Riteks, but their response was to use Nero to find out.
I guess I was asking if the Ritek discs from newegg (or these bulk Ritek in general, from anyone) are were branded.
I print glossy labels to put on CDs and DVDs, so I need discs with no screen printing on the surface of the disc. It's always hard to tell from these little pictures on websites whether or not a disc is branded or not, and they usually never say.
They are plain silver topped discs with a deep purple coating on the media side. Test them with DVDInfo and you will see that they are indeed genuine Ritek disks. If they sold only through their own name (Ridata) they would be in trouble.
