How about the above? This would be excellent to do cutaway shots - ungrouping the exsisting video from its underlying audion toi facilitate a video cutaway - and be sure that I've Regrouped the Cutaway shot - yeah?

Look - if this exsists within V4 already, apologies. But if not waddya think? Does this already exsist in the "Punch-In" fx? Am I making a mountain out of a mole hill?

You are absolutely correct. But [ there's always a "but" ;-) ]:

1 - You have to remember to click it back on - yes? Loss of concentration on the thing in hand.
2 - Having a script would make - at least me - for a more consistent workflow.
3 - Having a script would, literally, keep me on track AND keep me on track with my creativity.
4 - Having a script going would allow me to keep focussed on the job in hand and "view" the effect rather than be concerned about the "procedure" of doing it - yeah?
5 - Having this type of script "could" open up other possibilities, ones we aren't even thinking of at the moment!
