Easiest way is to create a text event and then move it with the event pan/crop tool. You could also import a large (tall) psd file from photoshop. Or you could fade in and fade out static titles. Looks cooler, easier to do.

Found it. Added now trying to find out how to control where the system writes the pre-rendered file to.. Have 40gb on g drive but only 3 gig on c
