Rookie Editing Question - Vegas 6

Sorry for such a simple question but how do you create a "freeze frame" in a trimmed video clip? I know how you do that at the end of a clip (turn the "loop" rule off) ,but when I trim or cut the clip to the point I want the freeze frame, I don't know how to get it to freeze that frame and drag it out on the timeline. Can anyone set me straight?

Put your cursor where you want the freeze frame. Hit S to split the event. Now look at the preview screen. Make sure the quality is set to 'best' (full) Next: There is a 'save' icon there called 'save snapshot'. Hit is so save your snapshot. Automatically, it will be added to the 'project media' tab. Grab it and drag it to the timeline where you created the spilt. To make it longer or shorter, drag the edge in the timeline. Done!

Thank you so much! Yeeup, easy. I kinda knew about the 'save snapshot' feature but I didn't know to adjust the quality hence all my snapshots looked poor. But this does the trick so thanks again!
