Rookie needs help

I have a Sony DCRDVD 308 Camcorder. I purchased Sony Vegas 8.0 and DVD Architect 4.0. I recorded a DVD, but I cannot get the DVD to the Vegas for editing. I have read the manuel, but I still cannot get it to work. Can someone help me?

I don't do it this way, but I see the question asked a lot. Do a search, using the search tab above, for "Import DVD"

Did you finalize the DVD in the camcorder? Until it's been finalized your computer's DVD drive won't be able to read the disc.

What steps have you tried?

Did you try using the IMPORT DVD function?
