If anyone is contemplating a purchase of any of the proDAD products (Heroglyph, Mercalli stabilizing software, etc.), I just received an email with a code for 20% off. I just purchased Mercalli Pro for $95 down from $119. I assume it is open to the public, so here's the info:

http://www.prodad.de/gb/buy-overview.html
1. Please choose the desired product and put it in the shopping cart.
2. Click on 'Proceed to Checkout'
3. Enter address and payment details
4. Be sure to enter the coupon code on the next page in the section 'Your coupon code'. Please input the following code proDAD20 and click on 'next'.
5. The 20% discount will appear and all you need to do now is to finally confirm your order, by clicking on 'order'

So what does the Pro version really offer that the light doesn't???

I just sold off all my Adobe video apps last week and need to find a replacement for Vegas Pro that is more intuitive to use than Deshaker.

I need something that is quick to use and that will generally resolve issues related to hand holding the camera with the run and gun type of content I shoot. The version of PPro I used had a light copy of Steadymove and it met the basic needs I had and wondered if the pro version is really necessary for basic corrections.

**Edit - Oops - light doesn't support HDV - only option is the Pro version**

For expert, the UK download price is £80 (plus taxes?) - that's equivalent to $160. Now as you are purchasing iot for $95US, that's like £47GB. Now THAT I'd be interested in!

DeShake free.

Hmmm...

Hi,

But I understand it's still only suitable for Vegas versions 7 and 6 and won't work with Vegas 6. This is a great shame as so many of us are still working with version 6 and are not yet ready to upgrade (for a variety of well-rehearsed reasons).

Does anyone know of a 'work around' to extend the programme to cover version 6?

Happy New year,
