Does anyone have experience with this camera? Any problems with importing its MPEG video into the timeline? How's the video quality, compared to a standard DV cam, like for example the Sony DCR-PC105 I'm using now?

If I try to edit MPG, will I introduce problems like video/sound synch?

I'm looking for a cam to take on backpacking trips, so size/weight are big considerations.
