save as copy media with project

I've in the timeline of my vegas pro 14 project many .MXF clips as well as some .AVI clips from GOPRO (actually from GOPRO STUDIO APP). I can edit, save and render my project without any problem but when I try to save, in a different folder, both the project and the trimmed clips (SAVE AS MEDIA WITH PROJECT and CREATE TRIMMED COPIES OF SOURCE MEDIA) Vegas saves only the .MXF clips and stops, giving an indeterminated  error, when it tries to save the .AVI clips. If I choose the first option: "saveas and copy source media" I don't have any problem

That means that Vegas can not split those AVI files into different parts. It is normal behaviour that than you have to save the project and the whole source file.
