Save audio event fx chain

Grazie wrote on 11/19/2016, 4:48 AM

I'm in an Audio Event on the VP Timeline - it's a V/O. Within this Audio Event I've created a Chain of 2 Audio SFXs. Where/what is the workflow to SAVE this Audio SFX Chain?

TIA.

This is saving from an Audio Track SFx as a Package and THEN importing that as an SFx Audio Chan Package to and Event. I'm already within an Audio Event and wanting to save an Audio SFx Chain from there.

Have I misunderstood your Video?

Hah! Using your Video, worked it out, or rather . . . I do a Dummy Add another FX from within the Audio Event - don't add one, but USE the Save as to the Package Folder instead. I had done this before now.

Not when I am looking straight at the Plugin Chain - I need to Add a Plug then I get the Save Chain option - it's the same for the VFX-ing.

If you have no FX in the chain, what would you save??

In my video I was only working with Event FX, not track FX. It wasn't so smart of me to use the Track Compressor FX as an example.

The latter part of the video was just showing how you'd apply an FX chain to a new event.
