Save Snapshot

I am having difficulty saving a snapshot from the preview window. Both the Save Snapshot to File and Copy Snapshot to Clipboard buttons above the preview are dulled and I cannot select them. They don't seem to be on. Can anyone help?

These buttons are inactive if you are using an external display device. You must be using the on-screen preview window in order to save a snapshot.

In Vegas 5 you can get still frames even if the external preview is selected, as long as playback is stopped.
