Save Subclip with Video only

Trying out Subclips for the first time. I'm trying to save a subclip with no audio. I tried rightclick in the trimmer window and selected "select Video only" and then saved a subclip but when I brought it back to the time line it had audio. Using Vegas 14. How to get just the video. Thanks.

A subclip is only a pointer to specific part of a video file, it is not a standalone file so it will keep all properties. If you right click on the clip and drag to the timeline, when you get there you can select audio only, video only as well as how the clip is positioned on the timeline.

Thanks for the reply. I think I will stick with using regions.
