Save to HDV camera

I'm using Vegas to edit files produced by a Canon HG10 (AVCHD) which it does very successfully. I would like to save my edited video back to the camera but when I choose the "Save to HDV camera" option the camera is not recognised. Can anyone advise whether this can be done, please? And if so how I go about it.

To my knowledge, Vegas can't write AVCHD files back to tape. "Save to HDV camera" is only for writing HDV files back to an HDV camcorder or HDV deck.

Thanks John. Vegas seems to assume you are writing back to tape when you choose "Save to HDV camera" as this is the heading that appears above the list of suitable hardware, which in my case is always blank. The HG10 is a hard drive based camcorder so perhaps I should treat it as a normal hard drive but if so presumably I need to produce AVCHD files to copy to it and I'm not sure Vegas will do this?
