Saved preset not working

I'm using the Sony Defocus within V12.

I set up how I want the focus to work with 4 keyframe animation points (at zero, 1, 5 and 6 seconds). I have given the preset a name (Slides1) and saved it.

But either dragging the new preset to the next event or dragging the Default then selecting the preset simply places the first keyframe and the remaining three are missing.

Can anyone suggest where I may be going wrong, please?

Preset don't create Keyframes. They can only be applied to an existing Keyframe.

When you position your cursor in the Pan / Zoom dialog and select a Preset, Vegas first creates the Keyframe at the cursor position, and then applies your selected Preset to it.

Saving as a Plugin Chain will keep the K/Fs. Just done one with Bump Map and KFs and used this Plugin Chain on another Event - KFs are still there. And you look for these in your Plugin Chooser > Filter Packages.
