Saving audio tracks

Hi

I've tried a search but not found what I'm looking for. How can I save an audio track back to HD. Also, if I have an AVI track do I have to render it as anmp3 or is there a save as option I am missing?

I'm guessing you mean you want to save the audio track back to HD because you've made some changes in the track...?

You do that by "Rendering" the track. Until you render it, any edits you made to the track in Vegas are temporary (non-destructive).

when you render--choose what file you want to save it as
i save as mp3
