saving location on timeline

I edit long (1-2 hour) videos. I do not do them all at one sitting. When I return to the program, it would be nice to be able to go to my last location. Is there any way to save where I was last on the timeline? Thanks.

You could place a marker there. That's about the only thing i can think of.

There is more than one kind of "marker" .... for something like this I make a text box with the words "Edited to Here" or something of the like and place it at the last edit.

Yep, anything like that works. If it's a very long project, for better visual appeal one could create an empty event on a top track that is muted, then keep stretching the end of that event out to the current edit point. At a quick glance it would be easy to see how far along one is.
